Research provides a solid way for students to learn about the systems of the body. As teams they can create a presentation to share what they learned with others. For the muscular system, they can use these guiding questions: What is its main function, and what other functions are provided?, What types of muscles are there?, What properties do muscles have?, How do muscles move?, What are muscles attached with?, and How do muscles receive messages from the brain?
