Students work in teams to create a Google slideshow to explain what a biome is and describe 4 types of biomes that we are likely to see at outdoor school (meadow, coniferous forest, deciduous forest, and wetland). Each student is responsible for at least one slide. All four biomes must be explained, with examples of various plants (a plant that is key to establishing the biome, a flowering plant, & a food source) & wildlife included (a minimum of 6 animals: herbivore, carnivore, omnivore, apex predator, keystone species, & decomposer), which can be found in the Willamette Valley.
