After learning about energy transformations, we take a few days to learn about efficient usage of energy and resources in the home and about conserving energy. Living Wise is a program supported by the Energy Trust of Oregon and other sponsors. They provide students with a kit to take home for families to use at home to save resources like electricity and water (which also saves them money).
There is also a booklet with activities to use in the classroom and a booklet to help students track the impact that they are having by installing the items in the kit.
