The Electric Company on PBSkids is hosting a game called Jessica’s Joyride (developed by sesameworkshop) to teach kids how to identify words that rhyme, in order to develop memory of similar word chunks, in order to decrease time spent decoding the individual sounds of each word’s individual letters.
Disclaimer: This can be challenging for students with dyslexia, as it is more difficult for them to memorize parts of words in larger chunks.
