Chemical Reactions Video

Chemical Party is a video that compares element behaviors to the ways in which people behave at parties. This video can provide an analogy to help students understand concepts about chemistry, which can initially seem abstract. This video is from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fellowship, which is part of the European Commision

The song used is originally from Von Sudenfed, and is titled, “Fledermaus Can’t Get It” (2007).

Disclaimer: The behaviors and pairings may not be suitable for all audiences, so teachers need to be aware of which audiences they share this with. I imagine that this was developed more for college chemistry classes. There could be more concern with 8-12th grade classes. Chemistry typically does not get taught before 8th grade, unless it is presented in an advanced placement course.
