I can see this project being used in a pre-school classroom. Children use finger paints to make letters of the alphabet on canvas. Besides having a great piece of art that can go home to each family as a keepsake, images of each art piece can also be printed and laminated (as a class set) for children to trace their fingers over. This could be a great way for them to learn the shapes of individual letters kinesthetically.
