It’s Okay To Be Smart has a great short video clip that describes Earth’s Layers well. I like to show this in 7th grade science as we investigate changes to the Earth’s surface. I like to connect it to the lessons from 6th grade about density, and remind them of the density column that I made around Halloween time, and of our in-class density experiments. It also describes Earth’s formation briefly, which ties into 8th grade Astronomy.
